Ich habe heute die Catrice Make Up Base aus der Out of Space LE mitgenommen. Als ich mir im nachhinein nochmal die Pressebilder angesehen habe, musste ich jedoch feststellen, dass die Tube in echt doch ein gutes Stück schmäler ist, als die Pressebilder implizieren. Die Tube enthält 20ml und hat 3,99€ gekostet. Irgendwie erinnert mich die Tube an die Alverde Lidschattenbasis, die ebenfalls in einer Tube daherkommt. Sie enthält 15ml. Also 5ml Unterschied bei Augenbase und Gesichtsbase. Naja...
In der Preview wurde die Base so angepriesen:
Sie soll Unebenheiten kaschieren und einen strahlenden Teint zaubern.
Das sie Unebenheiten kaschieren würde, habe ich ohnehin nicht für realistisch gehalten. Daher finde ich es gut, dass von diesem Effekt nichts auf der Tube steht. Hier steht nur:
"Lichtreflektierende Make Up Base für einen fischen Teint. Mit den Fingerspitzen auftragen und gleichmäßig verteilen. Kann alleine oder unter dem Make Up verwendet werden."
Das was die Aufschrift auf der Tube verspricht, kann die Base auch wirklich halten. Ich finde es einen sehr natürlichen Effekt. Es ist nämlich kein Glitzer Schimmer, sondern eher ein Sheen, den die Base zaubert. Ohne Foundation würde ich die Base wohl eher weniger Tragen. Entweder in die Foundation mischen oder einfach zum Highlighten auf die Wangen auftupfen.
Obwohl die Base relativ ergiebig ist, muss ich doch nochmal betonen, dass 20ml doch arg wenig Produkt ist.
I took along the Catrice Make Up Base from their "Out of Space" LE. It looks rather small especially when compared to the packaging Catrice showed in the promotion pictures. It only contains 20ml I have an eyeshadow base which comes in a similar tube which is only slightly (5ml) smaller. But oh well I got it so now I guess I can't complain. It was 3,99€.
In the promotion Catrice said that this Make Up Base would even out your skin and give it a fresh dewy look. I had my doubt about the evening out of the skin and that's why I am glad they didn't print that on the actual tube. Because I don't like it when products promise something they most likely won't live up to anyway. So what the tube says is what the product actually does. It goves you a fresh dewy look. You can use it by itself or underneath your foundation. I wouldn't use it on it's own but rather mix it with my foundation or use it to highlight my cheekbones etc. It has a really natural effect and that's what I like. It does not have any shimmer in it at all but rather a really nice sheen.
