I killed my Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencils

I have seen some Youtubers as well as Boggers who melted their Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencils into little jars. I really liked the idea. I have been neglecting my Jumbo Pencils a lot lately. They are just not not that convenient to work with. If I apply the product right to my eye the result is uneven and I usually end up with more product on my lids then I would need. I also don't like to first apply the product to my finger and then to my eye (where is the point in beeing a Pencil then?)
Right why do the Jumbo pencils need to be pencils anyway?

So I did what others did before me I melted them. I bought little jars at LBM Trade. 10 jars are only 1,47€.
There are two different methodes to melt the Jumbo Pencils. First you have to get rid of the metallic cap at the end of the pencil (which usually comes off pretty easy).
Next you either melt the Pencil in the microwave or with a hair dryer.
I prefered to melt mine with the hair dryer. All you have to do is hold the jumbo pencil in front of the hair dryer for a few minutes. You have to hold the pencil over the little jar because at some point the eyeshadow drips out of the pencil.
I had several Jumbo Pencils some from NYX some from drugstore LEs from Essence or Catrice. The Essence into the Wild LE Jumbo Pencil was the hardest to work with. There is a lot less product inside compared to the NYX ones and the little product just wouldn't wanna melt. That's why this little jar ended up not looking all that pretty. But overall I am happy with the results. I hope I will be using my "new" Cream eyeshadows more often from now on.

Into the Wild LE (Essence), NYX Horse Raddish, NYX Lemon
P2 Jumbo Pencil (?), NYX Black Bean, NYX Milk
